Vocal Coaching with me!
Are you a singer — beginner, experienced, or professional — and ready to develop your voice in a way that feels authentic, structured, and empowering? At Dara Voice Company, your lessons begin with you — your level, your goals, your sound, and your musical curiosity.
Together we shape a learning process that is precise, inspiring, and tailored to your unique voice.
As a certified CVI vocal coach, active singer, songwriter, gospel choir member, and artist with two released albums, I help singers grow both technically and artistically.
My coaching is grounded in solid vocal methodology, professional performance experience, and a calm, trust‑building teaching style. I teach singers from age 12 and up, across all levels and styles — Pop, Rock, Metal, Soul, Jazz, R&B, Gospel, Singer‑Songwriter, and more.

My teaching approach
-
Analytical – I listen carefully, diagnose what’s happening
-
in the voice, and choose targeted methods.
-
Supportive and calm – you get a safe space where there is room to explore, fail, try again, and grow.
-
Structured – each singer receives a clear individual learning plan.
-
Creative – as an active artist, I value expression, personality, and musical identity.
Singing is not only technique; it is self‑knowledge, courage, and emotional openness. Working with your voice means working with yourself — and I am with you in that process, guiding and motivating you every step of the way.
I work from a combination of CVI technique, deep vocal analysis, and clear communication. From my years of teaching, I’ve learned that every singer presents different signals — physically, vocally, and emotionally. Part of my role is to decode these signals, understand what the voice is trying to do, and translate that into effective tools and exercises.

Research
Singing naturally activates the parasympathetic nervous system, reducing stress by regulating breath and elongating the exhale. This process also improves lung capacity, oxygen intake, and overall respiratory health.3 Because vocal technique begins with breath and physical alignment, vocal coaching acts as both a musical and physiological training method — strengthening posture, breathing patterns, and body awareness.
The “Singing for Health Project” (2023–2025) reports benefits in areas such as communication, mental processing, memory, and conditions like Parkinson’s, dementia, and aphasia. Other research shows positive cognitive effects for both children and older adults.¹ ²
Because singing activates multiple brain regions at once — motor control, language, hearing, and emotion — it strengthens neural pathways and supports overall brain function.
Singing is one of the oldest and most natural ways for humans to express themselves — but modern research shows that it is also one of the most powerful tools we have for improving physical health, emotional balance, and overall wellbeing. Singing connects breath, body, and mind in a way that few other activities can, and vocal coaching helps you unlock these benefits with technique, awareness, and confidence.
Singing triggers the release of endorphins (pleasure hormones) and oxytocin (bonding and trust hormones), lowering anxiety and lifting mood. It also reduces cortisol, the body’s primary stress hormone. Because singing requires full body‑mind coordination — breath, sound, resonance, listening — it functions as a mindful, present‑moment activity, helping to break patterns of overthinking and stress.
Studies show that singing increases airflow to the upper respiratory tract and supports immune function, which may reduce infection risk. It also stimulates the vagus nerve, enhancing emotional regulation and resilience to stress. Some research even indicates that singing may help reduce chronic pain by lowering stress hormones and activating the body’s natural pain‑relief systems. ³
Group singing improves social bonding, increases trust, and can even synchronise participants heartbeats. During the pandemic, global examples of balcony singing and virtual choirs illustrated how people instinctively use singing to overcome isolation and build community.
even in one-to-one vocal coaching, this sense of connection and emotional openness is central to the experience.
